DMA's charity plan outlines our commitment to serving both the local Michigan community and our homeland Kerala. We allocate resources carefully to maximize our impact across several areas of need.
Our soup kitchen program provides meals to approximately 700 people each year. DMA members volunteer their time and resources to cook and serve hot meals to the homeless and needy in the Detroit area.
We maintain a dedicated fund for emergency relief in Kerala. This has helped us respond quickly to natural disasters, floods, and individual family crises. We have supported families facing medical emergencies, helping cover costs for treatments and surgeries.
Each year, DMA partners with Habitat for Humanity to repair and rebuild homes for senior citizens in the Michigan area. Our members volunteer their time and physical labor for this deeply meaningful initiative.
DMA has adopted roads in Sterling Heights and Novi, Michigan. Our members gather twice a year to clean and maintain these roads, contributing to a cleaner and more beautiful community.
We support the education of deserving students through our scholarship program, helping the next generation achieve their academic dreams. The DMA Scholarship has helped numerous students pursue higher education.
