DMA volunteer distributed Onam kit for more than 100 very poor families at Adoor, most of them were struggling with chicken guinea. Volunteer did not ask for any referral from anybody. He personally went to the villages near Adoor to assess the real people who needed the help. Made the kit personally with the help of volunteer’s family members and personally distributed at their door step. Volunteer went to their house with kit as “a surprise”. Most of them were shocked to see the unexpected “kit with everything for Onam”. The ‘tears came out of their eyes with joy’ is the reward for DMA.
DMA supported an ambitious and hard working student at Kottayam, who really needed financial help for her MBA. Her situation was personally assessed by one of our members and recommended for help.
DMA also financially supported a very poor girl at Kerala for her marriage. This support was referred by one of our members, who knew her family situation very well. The family of two girls and their mother manages their day to day life just by the earning from a cow! The girl’s father was missing for last 15 years.
